We’re looking to find the one website on the Internet that is snubbed, denied and shunned by Google. We want a web site whose title tag is “Home”. We’re looking for websites with no site maps, no meta data, no links, no pages indexed, no keywords and no chance of driving a bit of traffic from search engines.
And maybe, if you’re lucky, that’s your site!
After determining the winner of the “Google Hates My Website” contest, our SWAT team of SEO experts will move in and make great things happen on the site. That’s right, if your website is chosen, we’ll swoop in to your website for one week and make the changes needed to get you some Google lovin’.

Contest open to US based companies only. Contest entry deadline is February 14, 2009 at 11:59 EST. Winning website will be chosen based on the site that scores lowest on industry standard search engine optimization metrics. In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen at random from the lowest scoring sites. Winning site will receive one week consultation from Webbed Marketing. Cash value of prize is $10,000. No actual cash prize may be substituted for consulting service. Winner agrees to allow Webbed Marketing to make changes to his/her organization’s website within reason. This includes, but is not limited to the following: allowing Webbed Marketing to install site maps, change or add website copy, changing or adding website meta data and submitting site to search engines and/or online directories. Webbed Marketing will not be held liable for any negative claims made by winner. No guarantees of ranking, leads, sales or other results are promised or implied. All changes and consultation will be delivered remotely from Webbed Marketing’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older on or before February 14, 2009. Websites promoting alcohol, adult content or other content deemed objectionable are not eligible for entry. Winner agrees to participate in marketing and publicity campaigns. This may include but is not limited to: allowing Webbed Marketing to announce the winning site in a press release, podcast, video or other outlet, participation in a case study or white paper, linking to the Webbed Marketing website, providing testimonials and allowing Webbed Marketing to present the contest and subsequent results at events. In the event the winning site does not respond to its notification of winning within 48 hours the second place site will be named the winner and so on, until a winner accepts the prize.
