A new way to chat

Internet group discussion and interactive podcast leader, TalkShoe, and instant messaging super-site, Meebo, have partnered to give their users a quick and easy way to organize group calling. Users can now go to Meebo chat rooms and initiate group voice calling for free. By simply inviting friends or co-workers to the chat room, they can call into an instant live group call without having to download anything. Users can also text chat in the chat rooms during the group call.

Meebo.com hosts a variety of instant messaging services that are accessible from anywhere – work, home, vacation, Mars. Access to buddy lists for AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ, and Jabber are instantly accessible without
downloading or installing anything.

TalkShoe is a website where anyone can easily create, join, or listen to live interactive discussions, conversations, or podcasts. The "Talkcasts" can be hosted by anyone and recorded. Recorded "Talkcasts" are available to downloaded, listen to, or subscribed to.

TalkShoe and Meebo are leaders in live online voice communications that are helping connect millions of people every day and reduce my cell phone bill each month!

Broadcasting and Podcasting

Webbed Marketing has started our very own podcast. You can listen and subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or on Switchpod if you do not have iTunes. We will podcast about our current projects. Be sure to check it out!

Switchpod is a useful online tool that allows you to create your own podcast feed. There are varying membership levels including a free option. You do have to deal with sponsored ads in your feed though.

There are several other options for hosting podcasts. Ourmedia.org has a great free service. You will need to register with Archive.org and SpinXpress first. SpinXpress is used to upload your media and is posted to Ourmedia and the Internet Archive. You can also upload your media to Blip.tv. It seems like a great setup so far.
